Olga Alber

ALBER, Olga Jean - Age 87, of Linden, died peacefully on January 13, 2015 with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Gerald Tester will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton Adopt A Pet. Olga was born May 15, 1927 in Davisburg, the daughter of Vern and Edith (Chase) Tower. She was a resident of Linden for over 65 years. Olga enjoyed collecting antiques, playing the piano, sewing, discovering family through Genealogy research and family reunions. As a Jehovah's Witness she enjoyed holding many Bible studies to help others learn of God's promises ahead for mankind. She is survived by her daughter, Valorie (James) Jalsovsky; grandchildren, Tamara Tester, Joy Clarkson, Brian Alber and Lisa Alber; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Alyssa, Haley, Eddie Jr., Zachary and Kathryn; brother, Loren J. Tower; sister, Carol Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Garl Alber; son, Dennis Alber; brother, Gordon Tower; sister, Leone Stanaback and her parents.
