BROWN, Olaf Reed "Olie" - Age 95, of Flint/Linden/Donaphan, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in Lake Worth, FL. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Argentine Church of the Nazarene, 16248 Argentine Road, Linden. Rev. Ray Raycroft and Rev. Herbert Banks officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden, Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and at church Tuesday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mr. Brown was born December 10, 1915 in Burr, MO, the son of Ezra Reed and Alice Rose (Jones) Brown. He married Elsie Hampton February 18, 1939 in Doniphan, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Brown was a self employed Stone and Brick Mason and also owned and operated Brown Window Company in Doniphan, MO. He was a devote christian and served on several missionary trips. He was a grandson of a Civil War veteran. Surviving are: wife, Elsie; 3 children, Victor Warren and wife Karen Brown of Fenton, Janice Mae and husband Donald Nowiki of Argentine and Shirley Mae and husband Mark Zwierzynski of Byron; 7 grandchildren, Lori and husband Rob Usell of California, Christine and husband Richard Powelson of Swartz Creek, Martin and wife Brenda Brown of Flushing, Christopher and wife Darcel Brown of Belleville, Cindy and husband Michael Drake of Linden, Cheri and husband Shannon Kelsey of Gaines and Dennis Brown, Jr. of Flint; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Harold and wife Evelyn Brown of Doniphan, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Charlotte Ann Brown; son, Dennis Brown; brother, Omer Brown; sister, Edith White.
