Oglema 'Teenie' DODD

DODD, Oglema "Teenie" -- Age 85, of Flint, went to be with her Lord March 13, 2009. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, March 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Rev. John Grantham officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. She was born May 12, 1923 in Kennett, Missouri, the daughter of James R. and Cora (White) Myers. She married Mack B. Dodd on October 4, 1940 and he preceded her in death December 3, 1981. Teenie retired from GM Fisher Body Ternstedt in 1979 with 25 years of service. Surviving are: three children, Anne Lee Hill of Swartz Creek, Kenneth Mack Dodd of Flint, Krista Denise Clore of Swartz Creek. She was the loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Bob Hill, Jennifer Larrea, Tara Cowell, D'Anne Hula, Tim Hill, Kristy Newsom, and Daniel Clore. She had 14 great-grandchildren who brought their "Gigi" much joy. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband and four sisters.
