O. Eileen Miller

MILLER, O. Eileen (Stewart)- Age 88, of Linden, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden.  Rev. Donald Neuville officiating.  Burial immediately following in Fairview Cemetery, Linden.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until time of service Wednesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Historical Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Eileen was born July 3, 1919 in Clarkston, the daughter of Thomas and Minnie (Fox) Stewart.  She was a 1938 graduate of Linden High School, then had gone to work for Buick Engine Plant in Chicago, IL for many years during WWII.  She married Donald D. Miller October 6, 1946 in Linden and he preceded her in death November 23, 1993.  She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scout and was a member of the Village of Linden Election Committee for many years.  Her biggest joy came from being with her family and friends.  Surviving are: 5 children, Donald Miller II of Linden, Robert Miller of Linden, Peggy Judson and husband Hewitt of Lake Fenton, Patti Lamb and husband Marlin of Linden, Michael Miller and fiancee Penny Gary of Decatur, IL; 10 grandchildren, Donald Miller III, Stacie (Chris) Ward, Amanda Miller, Samintha Miller, Jacqueline Miller, Jennifer (Brad) Wright, Jeff Judson, Julie Jo (Chris) Phillips, Erica Miller, Rachel (Andy) Dunlap; 8 great-grandchildren, Brent, Megan, Addie, Macy, Joseph, Vance, Logan and very special great granddaughter, Jailen; brother, Thomas Stewart and wife Barbara of Toledo, OH; special neighbors, George and Sherri Davis; special friends, Ann Morey, Mary Carpenter, Barb MacLennan, Judy Robins; many nieces, nephews and other friends.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori Miller; sister, Harriet Smith.  Online condolences and tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
