Norman Richardson

RICHARDSON, Norman Frederick - age 79, of Linden, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 22, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Jay Coldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Sharp Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Norman was born September 12, 1938 in Ann Arbor, the son of Arthur and Clara Richardson. He married Barbara Dorow on November 28, 1959 and she preceded him in death on July 5, 2009. Norman retired from General Motors. He loved the outdoors, gardening, woodworking and race horses. Surviving are: two daughters, Christine (James) Ross of Linden and Jennifer (James) VanDyne of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, James (Amy) Ross, Matthew (Justine) Ross, Marrisa Ross, Sammy and Danny; nine great-grandchildren, Sydney Belle, Charleigh, Matthew James, Finn, Fisher, James III, Vincent, Ryder and Annabelle. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; daughter, Orlynn; brother, Robert; and great-granddaughter, Ella Marissa. Tributes may be share at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
