REID, Norman (Scotty and Da) - 83, of Fenton Twp., passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 PM Friday and 9:30 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Children's Burn Unit. Norman was originally from Scotland, married Betty Wilson in Toronto, Canada on June 6, 1953. Betty preceded him in passing on September 23, 1995. Scotty was a long time member of Clan McKenzie #250 and belonged to Local 948 I.B.E.W. since August 1952. He leaves behind his daughter, Karen (Curtis Koth) and granddaughter, Bethany, both of whom he loved dearly. HE also leaves step-grandchildren Brett Koth and Amanda Charles and their families as well as nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to "surrogate" grandson, Joshua Letts and the caregivers, Wendy, Bev, Sarah, Tara and Mary for all their support and kindness.
