Norman Lake

LAKE, Norman Edward - Age 74, of Mt. Morris, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home. Per his request, cremation has taken place and no memorial service will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Norman was born July 5, 1939 to Clyde and Ethel (Quick) Lake. He married Cindra Middleton May 11, 1984. He was a member of Local 651 and retired from GM (AC) in 1994. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting and playing poker with friends in the winter in Florida. Surviving are: wife, Cindra; five children, Tammy Miller of Huntington, IN, Kelley (Patrick) Gormley of Linden, Duane Lake of Davison, David (Kim) Lake of Flint, and Suzanne (Tony) Lopez of Citrus Heights, CA; ten grandchildren, Rion, Alyssa, Amber, Keyalani, Josh, Ashli, Trista, Brandin, McKenzie, James; four great grandchildren, Gracie, Alani, Aubri, Jace; two brothers, Terry (Deby) and Roger (Nancy); sister, Jacqueline (Leroy) Beauregard; sister-in-law, Charlotte Lake; brother-in-law, Rick (Michelle) Hoffmeyer; many special nephews and friends. Norm was preceded in death by his parents; son, Norman Jr.; stepmother, Virginia; three brothers, Clyde, Herbert and Gordie; son-in-law, John Miller.
