DOMBROWSKI, Norman- Age 86, of Fenton, formerly of Westland, passed away, January 12, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell. Fr. Gregg Pleiness, Celebrant. Memorial Contributions in Norman's memory would be appreciated to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Norman was born March 30, 1934 in Detroit, the son of John and Ann ( Szulakiewicz) Dombrowski. He married Patricia Chappell in Detroit on June 19, 1954. Norman retired after 44 years of service as a Tool Maker with GM. He was also a professional clown known as "Domby the Clown" a member of the Clowns of America. Norman was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and later St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was a member of Msgr. Hunt Knights of Columbus Council 3312 in Dearborn Heights. Norman was an avid gardener, and loved animals of all kinds. He also enjoyed hot rods and classic cars and racing.
Norman is survived by: his children, Dawn (Paul) Garcia, Rob (Bobbie) Dombrowski, and Lisa Nancoff; grandchildren, Sydnee (Donald) Corbin, Jacob Dombrowski, Mitchell Trager, Alanah Nancoff, and Maxwell Nancoff; great granddaughter, Elliott Corbin; several nieces and nephews.
