DICKENSON, Norman Dale - Age 91, of Flushing and recently of Fenton, passed away May 22, 2022. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Flushing Presbyterian Church. Norman was born August 4, 1930 in Flint, the son of Ralph and Violet (Ridley) Dickenson. He married Helen Hedrick on August 14, 1954 in Flint. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and retired from General Motors in 1987 after 32 years of service. Norm was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a member of Flushing Presbyterian Church, American Legion and Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, David (Karen) Dickenson, Laura (Rick) Baragwanath, Lynne Anderson and Steve (Royaa Soltani) Dickenson; grandchildren, Matthew Baragwanath, Shannon Anderson Freeman, Jessica Bledsoe, Jonathon Anderson, Skyler Dickenson, Adam Dickenson, Emory and Julian; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Don Dickenson, Jerry Dickenson, Al (Linda) Dickenson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Davis and grandson, Ryan Baragwanath. The family extends its heartfelt thanks for the support provided to the family and Norm by the staff of Vicinia Gardens and The Medical Team Hospice in Fenton.
