Norene A. Wells

WELLS, Norene A. - age 84, of Flushing, died May 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Family requests the celebration be kept casual, dress comfortable. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday and from 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday with funeral service following at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of one's choice. 

Norene was born December 12, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of Roy J. and Arlene (Lawcock) LePard. She married John F. Wells, Jr. in June 25, 1960 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 2024.  Norene retired from General Motors Service Parts. She was a very soft spoken, kind and generous person. She enjoyed gardening and loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.  

Norene is survived by: two children, Michelle "Shelly" (recently deceased Tim) Dikos and John Wells III; granddaughters, Danielle (Kurt) Chapelle and Rebekah "Becky" Dikos; great-grandchildren, Tyce Dikos, Saylor Chapelle, Maeve Chapelle and Solanus Henry-Timothy Chapelle; sister, Kay Romprey. 

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John F. Wells, Jr.; son-in-law, Timothy Dikos; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph "Jeff" and Mary Lou LePard; brother-in-law, Ron Romprey. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
