Nishith Dave

Nishith Dave, age 68, of Flushing, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. The Funeral Mass, celebrated by Fr. Louis Ekka, will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11AM at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road in Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, starting at 5PM until 8PM, a Vigil Service will be held at 7PM at Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek.

Nishith was born in the city of Colombo in Sri Lanka on November 9, 1953, to the late Suresh (Bhanumati) Dave. He graduated from Delhi University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He was employed with TTEC for 3 years before passing.  Nishith was a devoted member to St. Mary Queen of Angels in Swartz Creek where he frequently organized and planned many fundraisers for charities. Nishith was also a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus Swartz Creek Council 6694. If Nishith wasn't busy volunteering at church he enjoyed walking, observing nature and cooking. Nishith and Minal always looked forward to their travels to Maryland where they visited their granddaughter. He will always be remembered as being a loving "family man".

He is survived by his wife, Minal of Flushing; his two children Parimeet Dave of Lansing and Mohit (Fiona) Dave of Elkridge, MD; his precious granddaughter, Zelie Dave and his sister, Neera Trivedi. Nishith is further survived by other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Suresh (Bhanumati) Dave. Online condolences can be shared at: www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
