Nina Branson

BRANSON, Nina Jean - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, made her transition Saturday, December 12th , 2015. Services celebrating her life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, December 19th at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint , Michigan. Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating. In lieu of flowers, those desiring to honor Nina's life are encouraged to make a contribution to Faith Missionary Church or UNICEF. Nina was born July 30, 1936 in Pensacola , Florida, the daughter of Hersel G. and Dorothy Mae (Kennedy) Henderson. She married Jacob ("Wally") Branson on May 5th, 1956 in Lapeer. She was a very active member of Faith Missionary Church. She lived life as a Rhinoceros and her charging/can-do attitude was an inspiration to many. She loved to read, remembered everyone's birthdays and holidays with homemade cards, and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchild. Nina is survived by her husband, Wally; children, Jay (Sunny) Branson of Houston, TX., Jil-Lynn (David) Rosenbloom of CA.; grandchildren, Jason (Lyndsey) Upcraft, Geoffrey (Clara) Upcraft, Joy Branson; great-granddaughter, Sydney Upcraft; siblings, Martha Guigear, Carl Henderson and Dean Henderson.
