LEE, Nila Ludine, (Hall) age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at her home. Funeral Services will be 11AM Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. LuAnn Rourke officiating. The family will receive friends 10AM Tuesday until time of service at the church.  Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be Sunday 5-9PM and Monday 2-5 & 7-9PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Contributions may be made to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Nila was born March 2, 1923 in Essex, Missouri the daughter of Earl E. and Pearl M. Hall. She moved to Flint at the age of five (in 1928). She was a graduate with the first class at Flint Technical High School. Nila married Marion D. Lee on November 13, 1942 in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1996. She worked for General Motors during WWII, she as a "Rosie the Riveter" working on bomb sights and automatic pilots at AC Spark Plug. Years later, she retired her secretarial position from Swartz Creek United Methodist Church after 25 years of service. Nila was a member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Mary-Martha Circle, Swartz Creek Senior Center and a life member of Flint Aero Radio Control Model Plane Club. She enjoyed many hobbies; crossword puzzles, reading, knitting, cooking and traveling. Surviving are daughters, Judy and husband Tom Brushaber of Fenton, Debbie and husband Fred Gundlach of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Laurie Waddill of Flint; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mom's love of God, her devotion and sacrificial love for her family is a legacy of inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
