Nicole Chapman

CHAPMAN, Nicole Rene’ Denise - Age 52, of Fenton passed away October 10, 2022. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 14 at 4:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Nicole was born November 11, 1969 in Flint, the daughter of Joyce Dowdy Harrison and Joe W. Dowdy (deceased).  She graduated from Berea College in Kentucky with a BA in Theater and was a very accomplished actor.  She went on to earn a Master's Degree in Education from Marygrove College. Nicole was passionate about education and her students. She had taught children for 30 years impacting countless lives. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Nicole is survived by her husband, Rick; son, Ian; daughter, Monroe; mother, Joyce Harrison; siblings, Chris (Tarita) Dowdy and Joelle (Patrick) Kolody; nephews Nicolas (Megan) Dowdy, Sean and Parker Kolody; father-in-law Richard (Chris) Chapman; mother-in-law Ruth (Carl) Perigo.
