Nicholas Zelenko

ZELENKO, Nicholas - Age 72, of Mt. Clemens, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 13, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2023  at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Mr. Zelenko will be laid to rest, with military honors, at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  The funeral will be live streamed and can be viewed via a link on Mr. Zelenko's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM Tuesday until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nicholas to Soldiers' Angels (www.soldiersangels.org).  Nicholas was born April 21, 1950 in Flint to the late Nicholas and Freda (Walker) Zelenko. He graduated from Flint Southwestern High School. Nicholas enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors. He was an animal lover and also loved football. Nicholas is survived by his children, Christopher Zelenko of Nashville, Katie (Aaron) Scepka of Shanghai, China, Orsonia Zelenko of Davison, Rebecca (Nicholas) Hatswell of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Michael, Katrina and Kaitlyn Scepka, Maddison Marquis and Angalena Marquis; siblings, Gary (Mary) Zelenko of Milwaukee, Deborah (Thomas) Zelenko of Swartz Creek, Pamela (Dwight) Gfeller of Greenville, SC; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
