Nicholas Sheeran

SHEERAN, Nicholas Daniel - Age 37, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, March 9, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Bush Parish Center, 110 Bush St, Grand Blanc. Fr. Joseph J. Krupp, Celebrant. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM and at church Monday from 10:00 AM  until the time of the Mass.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sheeran Children's Education Fund.

Nick was born  January 31, 1983 in Flint, the son of Nicholas John and Cayla Muriel (Sackrider) Sheeran.  He was a 2002 graduate of Powers Catholic High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Michigan State University.  He was a Certified Financial Planner employed by Stephens Wealth Management Group. He earned a National Achievement Award as well as the top 40 under 40 from Raymond James. Nick was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Warwick Hills Country Club.  He previously served as a Habitat for Humanity board member in Flint.

Surviving are: his wife, Katie; daughter, Lucy; son, Jackson; father, Nicholas (Jill) Sheeran; brothers, Brian (Jenny) Sheeran of Flint and Matthew (Kellie) Sheeran of Yuba City, CA; step brothers, Sean (Jasmine) Dale of Phoenix, AZ, Todd (Jillian) Dale of Irvine, CA, and Nathan (Autumn) Dale Indianapolis, IN; beloved uncle, Mike Sheeran of Saginaw; aunt, Judy (Chuck) Gafney of Swartz Creek; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Jeffrey Powell of Grand Blanc; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Powell of East Lansing; brother-in-law, Daniel Powell of Grand Blanc; and his dog, Max.
