JEROME, Neva Jean - Age 90, of Mesa Arizona, formerly of Swartz Creek, died March 8th, 2023 in Mesa AZ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, March 17, 2023 at St Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek.  Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly 1:30 PM Friday, March 17, 2023.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek 1-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Rainbow Acres or a charity of one’s choice. Neva Jean was born April 8,1932 in Flint, the daughter of Joseph and Stella (Kominek) Pepin. She married Bruce E. Jerome May 10, 1952, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flint.  She retired from General Motors Payroll department. She resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek Friendship Club, Swartz Creek Senior Center. Surviving:  Daughters: Cynthia Jerome of Rainbow Acres - Camp Verde, AZ, LeAnn and husband Will Worley of Mesa, AZ; son: Duane and wife Peggy Jerome of Spring Texas; Granddaughter, Caylin Jerome of Spring Texas; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother John, and wife Helen; Sister-in-Law Joyce Malzahn and husband Bill. Heaven has added a great soprano to their choir.
