WAID, Nels Edwin - Age 49, of Flint. died Saturday, September 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 3:00PM Thursday until the time of service. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Nels was born June 7, 1967 in Pontiac the son of Robert F. and Violet (Ek) Waid. He served in the U.S. Army. Nels was a master carpenter. He is survived by his children, Luke, Christy, Kyle, Alyssa, Adam, Emma; several grandchildren; brothers, Danny, Calvin; half brother, Robert Kessler; mother, Violet.
