Nellie Mae McSIGUE

McSIGUE, Nellie Mae, age 69, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Rev. Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be 12:00p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family for expenses. Nellie was born December 26, 1942 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of the late Bennie and Dorothy (Osborn) Vinton. She was married to Thomas James McSigue who preceded her in death on November 22, 2001. Nellie enjoyed reading romance novels, playing hand held games, watching Christmas movies at holiday time and weekly episodes of CSI and Law and Order. She also participated in the Dan Richards Music Hour, calling in favorite tunes. Nellie would keep in touch with her family through cell phone contact each day and would play Bingo anywhere she could, as often as she could. Surviving are her daughter, Deanne McSigue of Flint; 4 grandchildren, Alexis, Gage, Chelsea, Bailey; sister, Loa Byerly (Jim) of Alleghan; 2 brothers, Robert Condon (Pat) and Bennie Vinton all of Lowell; son-in-law, Ryan West; close friends, Sandy and John Rushing, Joyce and Ruth; Lorraine and Sue Talmadge. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Vinton; grandson, Wesley Rodabaugh; sister, Betty Mercer; and best friend, Martha Bumstead.
