Neil Rich

RICH, Neil John - age 70, of Linden, passed away, May 4, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel. 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of donors choice.

Neil was born March 26, 1950 in Flint, the son of Robert and Elaine (Bisanz) Rich. He married Marjean Ann Carpenter in Fenton, August 3, 1974. Neil graduated from Flint South Western High School and Mott C.C. He was employed as a Park Ranger in Genesee County and as a Sheriff Deputy in Ionia County. Neil enjoyed duck and pheasant hunting, and  fishing. He also trained Hunting Dogs, especially Labrador Retrievers. Neil had a "heart of gold"!

Neil is survived by: wife, Marjean; children, Kristi Lawless, Greg Rich; granddaughter, Kyleigh Lawless; mother, Elaine Rich; Siblings, Keith (Judy) Rich, Dennis (Patricia) Rich, Connie (Brent) Bloxsom; several nieces and nephews.
