Nannie Phillips

PHILLIPS, Nannie Faye - Age 68, of Fenton, died Monday, December 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, December 22 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor J.C. Hager officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-8 PM Thursday; and 11 AM-12 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Nannie Faye Phillips Memorial Fund, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Nannie was born May 27, 1949 in Manchester, KY, the daughter of Dave and Myrtle (Allen) Jackson. She married Charles Judson Phillips January 9, 1972 at Deerfield Primitive Baptist Church. She had resided in the Fenton area most of her life. She had been employed by Riverbend Nursing Home in Grand Blanc for over 20 years. Nannie was a member of Deerfield Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are: her husband, Charles; son, Charles Phillips of Fenton; grandson, Zackery Phillips of Davison; brother, David (Cori) Jackson of Pineville, KY; sister-in-law, Lois Jackson of Fenton; step daughters, Nannette and Deborah; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Sally Diggs; brother, Donnie Jackson; and sister, Jesse Gates.
