Nancy Louise Totten

Totten, Nancy Louise - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, passed away, March 9, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Kevin Galloway II will officiate. Visitation will be held 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Nancy was born February 24, 1937 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Cleo Van Etten and Vera (Peterson) Van Etten. Nancy raised six children and loved her family deeply. She was a retired bus driver from the Grand Blanc Public Schools. Nancy loved driving and taking day trips . She enjoyed painting, crafting and playing games, especially bingo.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dana Sterba, Gena De Ford, Brittany Totten, and Cody Campbell for their exceptional care of Nancy during her illness. The family also would like to thank the staff of McLaren Hospice for their help and kindness while Nancy was under their professional care. 

 Nancy is survived by her six children, Deborah Gillespie, Freeman "Buck" (Anne Figueroa) Overton, Laura Campbell-Bullock, Gena (Wade) De Ford, Phillip Totten, Cindy, Dana Sterba and daughter-in-law Rebecca Totten; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Van Etten; several nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings.
