Nancy Ocenasek

OCENASEK, Nancy Carol (Cimbalik) - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, May 21, 2022.  Funeral services will be held  11:00 Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Deacon Rod Amon Officiating.  Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Food Pantry, 7400 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.

Nancy was born January 1, 1956 in Flint, the daughter of William Stephen and Amelia (Justynski) Cimbalik.  She was a 1974 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.  She married John Frank Ocenasek February 11, 1984 in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death February 25, 2019.  She retired from Ascension Genesys Hospital as a Unit Clerk.  Nancy was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek.  She enjoyed horseback riding and sewing.

Surviving are: her step son, John (Tracy) Ocenasek II of Montrose; granddaughters, Natalie and Savannagh; siblings, Daniel (Diane) Cimbalik of Flushing, Anne (Rick) Beebe of Swartz Creek, William (Cathy) Cimbalik of Byron Center, and James Cimbalik of Swartz Creek; nephews, Eric Cimbalik, Brett (Christina) Cimbalik, and Stephen Cimbalik.
