Nancy Mallia

MALLIA, Nancy Suzanne - age 73, of Linden, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Visitation will be held 1-5 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday evening. Visitation will also be held 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the church. Mrs. Mallia was born February 17, 1942 in Detroit, the daughter of George and Edith Marie (Alt) Taylor. She married George Paul Mallia and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2005. Surviving are: three children, Steven Mallia of Chicago, Matthew (Susan) Mallia of Grand Blanc, Laura (Jon) Gillespie of Howell; daughter-in-law, Julie Mallia of Pinckney; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Margaret, Katherine, Grace, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Lucas; great-granddaughter, Aubree; sister, Barbara Ringo of Ann Arbor; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; son, David Mallia on July 3, 2015; daughter, Deborah Gail Mallia; and sister, Patricia Taylor.
