Nancy Leonard

LEONARD, Nancy Gail - Age 78, of Swartz Creek, died January 9, 2018. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Flint Association of the Deaf. Nancy was born February 6, 1939 in Jenkins, KY, the daughter of Ted and Mabel Hillman. She was a graduate of Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, KY. Mrs. Leonard retired from AC Spark Plug with 17 years of service. She was a member of the Flint Association of the Deaf Womens Auxiliary for 57 years. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Leonard Sr.; son, Theodore Leonard of Greenfield, MN; daughter, Suzanne Conner of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Larry Hillman of Naples, FL; sister, Margaret Morrison of Berea, KY; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
