FORREST, Nancy Ann - Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrating. A burial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2013 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and at church Friday from 10:30 AM until time of Mass. The rosary will be prayed at the funeral home Thursday at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Nancy was born August 27, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Bush) Moore. She was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School. She married Neilen H. Forrest July 16, 1955 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Flint. Nancy has resided in Swartz Creek since 1970 coming from Flint. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, drawing, and art. Surviving are: husband, Neilen H.; 3 children, Debby (Tim) Gocha of Fraser, Dorine (Andrew) Mancillas of Swartz Creek, and Michael Forrest of Flint; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Doris Hall of Florida and Naomi Sanders of Gulliver; 4 brothers, Walter (Patricia) Moore of Flint, Stuart (Elaine) Moore of Flint, John (Kathy) Moore of Swartz Creek, and Jerry (Yvonne) Moore of California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lucille Hatch; and brother-in-law, Bob Sanders.
