Nancy Jane Clayton

CLAYTON, Nancy Jane (Burton) - Age 64, of Burton, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held 1PM Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Pastor Carl Halquist officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2-9PM Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Nancy was born November 23, 1942 in Flint the daughter of Truman and Mary Jane (Morris) Newberry and had been a resident of Flint all of her life. She loved camping and crocheting. Nancy was a very dedicated mom and grandmother. Surviving are 9 children, Janie Shepley, Joseph Burton, Janice Burton, Donald (Tina ) Burton, Carol (Randy) Clayton, Terry Burton, Sherry Wines, Barbara (Micky) Wines, Joseph (Jeanette) Hicks; 4 step-children, Diane Clark, Dennis (Donna) Clayton, Shirley (Derek) Miller, Cherie Clayton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mary, Shirley, Loretta and Trudy; brother, Tony. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James in 1989; sister, Cathy; brother, Paul; son-in-law, William Shepley and step-daughter, Linda Clayton.
