Nakhleh Khoury

KHOURY, Nakhleh Saba - Age 85, of Davison, died Sunday, August 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint. Reverend Father Michael Bassett officiating and the Very Reverend Father Gregory Hogg concelebrant. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday at St. George Orthodox Church. A Trisagion service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday evening at the church. Nakhleh will be at the church from 11 AM Wednesday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. George Orthodox Church. Nakhleh was born on April 7, 1936 in Beit Sahour, Palestine the son of Saba and Aziza (Mitri) Khoury. Surviving are his children, Saba and wife Suzan, Renee and husband Elias Mitri, Jane and husband Issa Abueita, and Samieh Emiah; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Michael Isa, Qustandi Khoury, Nasri Khoury and Kareem Khoury; 3 sisters, Dalal Bannoura, Miriam Abueita and Baha Qumsieh. Nakhleh was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam Khoury, parents, Saba and Aziza Khoury, and 2 sons, Jameel and John Khoury. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
