HAGERMAN, N. Ruth - Age 90, of Stanwood formerly of Holiday, FL and Fenton, died Friday, February 13, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St, Fenton. Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Burial in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Woodland Hospice, 2597 S. Meridian Road, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mrs. Hagerman was born June 3, 1918 in LeRoy, KS, the daughter of Alpha Albert and Mary Estella (Snider) Meats. She married C. Ross Hagerman and he preceded her in 1992. She had resided in Stanwood the past 2 years coming from Holiday, FL and was originally from Fenton were she raised her family. Mrs. Hagerman was an avid golfer, bowler and gardener, she also was a good helpmate/friend to all who knew her. She was a graduate of LeRoy High School LeRoy, KS, she then graduated as a RN from Johnson Nursing School, Chanute, KS. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Patricia and husband Ronald Mensack of Ft. Collins, CO and Joyce and husband William Healy of Stanwood; 4 grandchildren, Kim Wilson, Darren Mensack and wife Barb, Kevin Healy and Neil Mensack and fiancee Meghan Caulum; 4 great grandchildren, Mallory and Megan Mensack, Michael Healy and Hailey Wilson.
