JACKSON, Myrtle A. - Age 92, of Fenton, died September 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, September 28, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Elder J.C. Hager will officiate. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday. Burial will be in Allen Bowling Cemetery, Hector, KY. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Myrtle was born May 22, 1923 in Manchester, KY, the daughter of Ben and Mary (Bowling) Allen. She was a member of Deerfield Primitive Baptist Church for many years. Surviving are her children, David Junior (Cora) Jackson, Nannie (Charles J.) Phillips, Terry Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lois Jackson; special grandson, Charles Phillips; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; brother, Sherman Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Jackson; daughter, Jessie Gates; son, Donnie Wayne Jackson; granddaughter, Mary Sally Diggs; son-in-law, William Franklin Diggs; nine brothers and a sister.
