Myrna DAVIS

DAVIS, Myrna Marie - Age 72, of Flint Twp., died Monday, April 27, 2009 at St. Mary Hospital, Saginaw, MI. Funeral service will be held 12PM Friday, May 1, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Wednesday and 1-4 and 6-8PM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Myrna M. Davis Memorial Fund. Myrna was born in Flint on October 3, 1936, the daughter of Wilfred and Wilameana (Meoak) Russ and was a resident of the Flint area her entire life. In April of 1954 she married Ernest E. Davis, Sr. in Flint and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2005. She had been a homemaker; former member at Galiean Baptist Church in Flint; loved working in her garden and was a good mom and grandmother. Suviving are: 3 children, Rhonda (Terry) Saylor of Flint, Sequoia Davis of Flint, Janet (John) Woolard of Flint; son-in-law, Juan Perez; grandchildren, Ernie (Debi), Eddie (Misty), Tiana (Levi), Tiffany (Nick), Jaclyn (Brian), Mark, Miguel, Tecelia (Glen); several great-grandchildren, Ernie, Jesse, Jacob, Alyssa, Kyle, Gaige, Destini, Jaiden, Raeanna, Devvon, Sabrina, Abegale, Isabell, Kristian, Dominick, Sebastian, Brian, Alliah, Alana, Shyann, Diego, Mackenzie; mother, Wilameana Russ of Grand Blanc; 2 sisters, Genie (Robert) Hensley of TN and Melba Minor of Flint. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred, Russ; sons, Ernie Jr. and Mark; daughters, Yvonne Perez and Michelle Davis; sister, Mary Ann Lucier; great-granddaughter, Jestina.
