CARLSON, Muriel Alice -- Age 90, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the McLaren Visiting Nurses, 2335 S. Linden Rd., Flint, MI 48532.  Mrs. Carlson was born October 28, 1913 in Watertown, MI, the daughter of John Alexander Stuart Johnson and Ellen (Sams) Johnson. She was a 1929 graduate of Sandusky High School and attended Baker Business School. She had resided at Lake Fenton since 1947. She was married to Albert Theodore Oscar Carlson on June 20, 1942 in Bowling Green, OH; he preceded her in death June 9, 1986. Mrs. Carlson retired from Fisher I in 1974 with 31.5 years of service in the accounting department. She was a member of the McLaren Auxiliary. Surviving are: son Bruce Anders Carlson and wife Bianca of Cremona, Italy; granddaughters, Chiara and Giulia Carlson of Cremona, Italy; brothers, James Ernest Johnson of Sandford, MI, Gilbert Lee Johnson and wife Karlene of New Burlington, OH; sister-in-law, Marion Johnson of Grand Blanc; brothers-in-law, Norman Livermore of Houston, TX, Richard Rumsey of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Florence Livermore, Kathleen Newman, Verneita Nyland, Elaine Rumsey; and brothers Calvin, John L. and Robert Johnson.
