LEONARD, MSgt. Thomas M. (USAF, Retired) - Age 82, of Linden, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Caretel Inns of Linden. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of Mass. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Tom was born in Elizabeth, NJ on March 3, 1929. He served 26 years in the United States Air Force. He also worked 20 years in the Flint Post Office and 10 years at the State Bank in Fenton. Surviving are: wife, Maria F.; son, Thomas M. Leonard Jr.; daughter, Patricia M. (Anthony) Callender; grandchildren, Joseph and Melissa Callender. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
