Morris Ayliffe

AYLIFFE, Morris Charles - age 76, of Shepherd, MI, formerly of Fenton, died Thursday, December 31, 2015. Services will be held 4 PM Monday, January 4, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 4 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Ayliffe was born June 15, 1939 in Clio. He married Sharon Kay Luchenbill on August 27, 1960 in Mio. Mr. Ayliffe retired from General Motors as a second shift supervisor in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling with his wife. He also loved fishing and going to casinos but his family always came first. Mr. Ayliffe had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories and jokes. He leaves his loving family: wife, Sharon of Shepherd; four children, James (Mishelle) Ayliffe of Otter Lake, Laura Ayliffe of Mt. Plesanet, Julie Ayliffe of Eugene, OR and Morris (Jody) Ayliffe, Jr. of Byron; five grandchildren, Jason Ayliffe, Marissa Ayliffe, Landon Brewer, Avery Ayliffe and Morris Ayliffe III; two great-grandchildren, Jaylen Ayliffe and Arianna Miller; brother, Carl (Sharon) Ayliffe of Red Oak, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Doris Bacon; two brothers, Robert Ayliffe and Harold Bacon; sister, Betty Ballard.
