FRAIDENBURG, Mitchell Louis, 'Mick' age 73, of Lennon, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday, December 12, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Ray Cocke officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-9PM Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Shiawassee County Fraternal Order of Police or to the family. Mick was born October 8, 1935 in Lansing, the son of Porter and Mona ((Bratschi) Fraidenburg. He married Natalie Schultz in Flint on October 8, 1972. Mick was employed by Shiawassee County as a building and groundskeeper for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, also enjoyed woodworking, building cabinets and furniture, and loved commercial painting. Mick was a happy-go-lucky many who loved being a jokester. Surviving are his wife, Natalie of Lennon; 3 children, David Fraidenburg (Louise) of Owosso, Gary Fraidenburg of Owosso, Cindy Zamora of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; 9 grandchildren, Amber, Rashay, Alisha, Joslyn, Hailea, Stephanie, Kristen, Jamie, Heather; 7 great-grandchildren, Mollie, Addison, Kalob, Bridger, Smythanne, Devin, Brooklyn, 2 brothers, Albert (Myra) Fraidenburg, Don Fraidenburg; and best friend, Tom Accord. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Virginia and in-laws, Harley and Doris Schultz. The family extends thanks to Dr. Ronald Shaheen, a special friend as well as good doctor for his wonderful care.
