ROGERS, Millicent A., AGE 80 Of Burton, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. Â Millicent was born in Reeves, Missouri, the daughter of Lester and Grace (Nolan) Crider. She lived in the Flint area most of her lifetime. She married Clyde Rogers in Angola, Indiana in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1958. Â Millicent was a production worker at General Motors for 20 years and retired in 1973. She was an avid fan of the Red Wings, Pistons and Tigers. Â Surviving are her two daughters: JoAnn Tornai and son-in-law Carl Howdyshell of Flint and Darlene Tornai of Chicago. Â Also surviving are her granddaughter, Lisa (Steve) Williams and a great-granddaughter, Alexandra. Further survivors are 3 sisters; Sandra, Gene and Sharon, and a brother Richard, and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Millicent was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a special son, Bobby, great-grandson Eric James, sister, Helen, 6 brothers; John, Robert, Frank, Charles, Lester and Jerry. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Â Pastor Larry Fouts will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Â Millicent's family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Thursday from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Â Those desiring may remember Millicent with a memorial contribution to the Genesee Co. Humane Society or Adopt-A-Pet.
