Miller Quinn BIRCH II

BIRCH II, Miller Quinn - Age 80, of Flushing, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Tendercare Health Care of Frankenmuth. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Mr. Birch was born September 28, 1931 in Flint, the son of Miller Quinn Birch I and Helen James. He married Bonnie Jean Gardener on May 1, 1953 and she preceded him in death August 30, 1985. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from GMSPO in Swartz Creek after 35 years of service. Mr. Birch was a member of the Flushing Moose Lodge and U.A.W. Local 659. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are: 3 children, Stephen Birch and wife Debbie of Evart, Cheryl Buckstiegl and husband Richard of Petoskey and Miller Quinn Birch III and wife Blythe Walker of Flushing; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, James Birch and wife Beverly of Mt.
