Mildred Roe

ROE, Mildred B. - Age 91, of Parshallville, died Friday, February 20, 2015. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM and 2 - 7 PM Saturday, February 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment at a later date at Parshallville Cemetery. Mildred was born December 8, 1923 in Osceola Township, the daughter of John and Mabel (Nagel) Biller. She married Rollin Jay Roe on October 30, 1942 in Hartland and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2007. She was a reporter for Livingston Co. Press for 19 years. Mildred was on the Senior Citizens Advisor Council for 8 years. She kept track of and wrote letters to Vietnam active service members for Hartland Community Life. She was on the Tyrone Township Zoning Board for many years. Mildred is survived by her children, Gary (Peggy) Roe of Odessa, TX, Gail Combs-Tanner (Greg) of Howell, Gordon Roe of Waterford; three grandchildren, Kristen, Karin and Eric; three great-grandchildren, Jayde, Bryan and Chance.
