Mildred Mcelrath

McELRATH, Mildred Evelyn (Harvey) - Age 79, of Flint Township. On the evening of June 1, 2016 Mildred passed away peacefully at her residence, comforted and cared by loved one's and with the help of Grace Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Grace Hospice, 4444 W. Bristol Road, Suite 320, Flint, MI 48507. Mildred was born September 14, 1936 in Weiner, AR, the daughter of Les and Minnie (Hunter) Harvey. Growing up, Mildred enjoyed attending church and traveling to sing in the choir. She married Donald Ray McElrath March 2, 1953 in Tennessee and he preceded her in death November 29, 2006. She had resided in Flint for the 60 years coming from Arkansas. Mildred is survived by her 5 children, Donald (Colleen) McElrath, Jr. of Flint Township, Ronald (Robin) McElrath of Alabama, Peggy (Lloyd) Wolverton of Flint Township, John (Peggy Nau) McElrath of Mt. Morris, and Jerry (Andrea Sallas) McElrath of Tenneseee; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother, Max (Barb) Harvey of Arkansas; sister, Kay (Pete) Wyckoff of Irons; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
