Mildred Lockhart

LOCKHART, Mildred - Age 90, of Clio, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday, September 8, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint (Grand Blanc Township). Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Brian's House Hospice, American Cancer Society, or to the Alzheimer's Association. Mildred was born April 4, 1916 in Hadley, the daughter of William and Rosina (Matznick) Sutton. She was raised in the Hadley and Atlas area and was a 1933 graduate of Goodrich High School. She had resided in Clio since 2000. She was married to Ralph Lockhart on May 29, 1937 and he preceded her in death July 25, 2006. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. She was a member of the Women's Brigade for the Sitdowners. Mrs. Lockhart is survived by: brother, Norm Sutton of Clio; sister, Helen Stratton of Mundy Township; nieces and nephews and god child, Mildred Sutton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Margaret and brother, Eldon. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Brian's House.
