Mildred (Hatton) Smith

SMITH, Mildred (Hatton) - Age 85, of Linden, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. 

Mildred was born February 4, 1939 in Hazard, KY, the daughter of Walter and Nancy (Miller) Hatton. She was a graduate of Milford High School. She had resided in Linden since 2021 coming from Fenton. She had been employed by Crestmont Nursing Care Facility in Fenton as a CNA. Mildred was a member of Fenton Church of God. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, making jewelry and most of all spending time with her family. 

Surviving are: her children, Amy Taylor of Linden and James Smith of Washington State; grandchildren, Emily (Charlie) Flashians, Tracey (Jared) Maynard, Patricia (Sean) Londrigan, Stacey Stewart, Thomas (Brianna) Stewart, Kaleb Taylor and Haley Taylor; great grandchildren, Brady, Seth, Gemma, Arabella, Alianna, Carter, Troy, Ashton and Skylar; sisters, Linda (Douglas) Dotson of Fenton and Patsy Bailey of Burton; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nancy Hatton; daughter, Jane Stewart; brothers, E.J. and Darrell Hatton; and sister, Wanda Mullins. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
