Mildred Mary 'Millie' Harris

HARRIS, Mildred Mary 'Millie' - age 85, of Traverse City, formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully June 3, 2006 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A funeral service for immediate family and close friends of Millie's will be held 2 PM Friday, July 7, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Thursday and 12 PM until service on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Harris was born June 12, 1921 in Detroit, the daughter of Edward and Pearl Shantz and was a life long resident of Flint. She was a former member of Community Presbyterian Church in Flint. Surviving are: daughter, Sharon and husband, Edward Waltz of Traverse City; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Shantz and wife, Marilyn of Grand Rapids.
