Mildred M. HARRIS

HARRIS, Mildred M., "Millie", age 85 of Amelia Island, Florida, formerly of Flint, passed away August 8, 2011 in Florida. She was born October 29, 1925 in Scottsville, Michigan, the daughter of Sharon and Edna (Metzger) Rockwell. She is survived by her loving family, husband of 60 years, Richard Harris; daughter, Nancy McLelland and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Laura, Scott and Ryan McLelland, and Christopher Green and his wife Lory; and a sister, Josephine Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Green and also her brothers, Howard and Kenneth Rockwell, and a sister, Thelma Kinsey. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be Friday, August 12th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
