DeFRANCO, Mildred M. -- Age 88, of Harrison, MI, formerly of San Jose, CA, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Friday, February 20, 2004 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton, MI. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Entombment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton from 10 AM - 12:45 PM on Friday. Mildred was born March 2, 1915 in San Jose, CA, the daughter of Manuel and Madeline (George) Nunes and lived in San Jose most of her life. She was married to Carl S. DeFranco, who preceded her in death on July 19, 1999. Surviving are: children, Carl P. and wife Nancy DeFranco of Colorado Springs, CO, Sharon and husband Glenn Summers of Harrison, MI; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
