BROWN, Mildred "Millie" R. -- Age 69, of Flint, died May 1, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, May 6 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be 1-3PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawasee, 2005 Copas Rd, Owosso, MI 48867. Millie was born January 24, 1948 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Harold and Ida (Oliver) Simmons. She married Richard 'Rick" D. Brown in Flint on September 21, 1983. Millie was a Homemaker who enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and visiting Casinos. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Brown; children, John Bowen, Jeff (Karrie) Bowen and Judy Bowen; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, twin sister, Margaret (Robert) Mol, Harold (Sandy) Simmons, Keith Simmons, and Dorothy Simmons; several nieces and nephews.
