Milan Glusica

GLUSICA, Milan Nichola, Age 90, of Flint, fell asleep in the Lord surrounded by his family, June 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10AM Saturday until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Milan was born December 19,1926 in the Village of Strpci, Yugoslavia, the son of Nicholas and Deva (Pemac) Glusica. He immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in 1950. He married Anita Baumann on June 2, 1952 in Flint. Milan proudly worked for General Motor for forty four years as a fork lift operator. He worked hard to take care of his family. He was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and past president of Serbian Lodge. Milan was a proud yet humble man. He instilled a sense of integrity and dignity in all he met. Milan gave freely and generously from his heart. He is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Anita; daughters, Angela Fields, Zora Glusica, Mira Grimes; son, Milan Rolf Glusica; grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Deva, Cara, Tommy, Bradley, Brian, Cory, Michelle; and great-grandchildren, Christina, Kaytlynn, Katie, Tyler, Danica, Vivian, Lindsay; sister, Mica Rajic.
