Mickie Lee VanSteenburg

VAN STEENBURG (Garcia), Mickie Lee, age 51 of Davison, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Van Steenburg was born in Calhoun, Georgia on December 19, 1954.  She has been a Flint/Davison area resident for many years.  She had been a convenience store manager for 11 years. Mrs. Van Steenburg was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Millington.  Surviving are two daughters;  Lisa (Chris) King and Teresa Garcia, both of Davison.  Also surviving are two grandchildren; Taylor and Ragan King; one brother, William (Carol) Cronan and a sister, Shirley (Anthony) Oliver, all of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Cronan,her mother, Ethel June Crane and her step-father, Harold Crane;, a nephew, Anthony Oliver, Jr and her first husband Noe Garcia. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Grand Blanc, Twp. Pastor James Wertz will officiate and burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens in Davison.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. and Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in her name are being accepted by her family.
