LaFERRIERE, Michelle Lynn (Herrmann) - Age 29, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township, with Pastor Edward Pedley officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Michelle L. LaFerriere Memorial Fund. Michelle was born July 28, 1981 in Flint, the daughter of Joe and Beth (Fischer) Herrmann. She was a 2000 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and a 2006 graduate of University of Michigan Flint. She married Larry J. LaFerriere October 14, 2006 in Flint. Michelle was a member of the Grand Blanc Optimist Club. Surviving are: husband, Larry; daughter, Mia; parents, Joe and Beth Herrmann formerly of Grand Blanc; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phillip and Margaret LaFerriere of Flint; sister, Dawn and husband Travis Swartz of York, PA; grandparents, Leonard and Lila Fischer of Gladwin and Celena Hull of Gladwin; 3 brothers-in-law, Phillip LaFerriere of Tucson, AR, Thomas and wife Becky LaFerriere of Jacksonville, FL and Adam and wife Carly LaFerriere of Macomb; sister-in-law, Jennifer LaFerriere of Flint; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends; and her faithfull companion, Bailey.
