Michelle J. Combs

COMBS - Michelle J. age 56 of Flint, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michelle to the Mott Children's Health Center (www.mottchc.org).

Michelle was born on March 14, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James Combs and Barbara Cool.  She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1985 and attended Mott Community College where she studied Childcare.  Michelle will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  She loved to laugh, she loved life, her independence, music, dancing, nature, drawing, baking, her pet "Charming" and her late pets, "Cinderella" and "Missy" and Michelle cherished time spent with her family and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the ICU Staff at the University of Michigan Hospital for the special care Michelle received.

She is survived by her life partner for more than 30 years, Jim McKenzie.  Parents, Bob and Barb Cool.  Sisters, Lori Innis and Lisa (Ron) Forster.  Step-siblings, Jim (Lynette) Cool and Brenda (Tom) Soule.  Nieces, Amanda and Jessica and nephews, Barry and Nathan.  Michelle is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, James Combs.  Grandmother, Margaret Jenkins.  Cousin, Otis Jenkins and her best friend, Brandi Clark.
