Michel Anderson

ANDERSON, Michel Anthony - age 65, of Flint, died April 19, 2021. Visitation will be held from 2-7 PM Friday, April 23, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. A closing prayer service will be held at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home by Fr. Anthony Brooks. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee Township Firefighters Association, 3128 Alcott Ave, Flint, MI 48506.  Michel was born September 1, 1955 in Flint, the son of James T. and Marjorie J. (Wells) Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and served on the Genesee Township Fire Department for 37 years. Michel loved the Fire Department like a second family. He was a security guard with GS4 working at General Motors Metal Fab for over 20 years. Mike worked hard at everything he did, he was a servant of God and you could always count on him to show up to any event ready to help anyway he could! He was a kind hearted giver. Helping anyone in need and never asking for anything in return. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and loved animals, feeding squirrels, keeping bees and raising chickens. He enjoyed woodworking, grilling, cooking, baking and making wine. Surviving are: wife, Rhonda; two sons, Michel Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ and Ryan (Trina) Anderson of Boca Raton, FL; granddaughter, Aritzia; brother, Mark Wiley of Clarkston; sister, Kenice Schooley of Clarkston; and his two Dobermans, Scooby and Ruby.
